BLOCK10 – ONDE NOSTRE presents the third edition of SKATE AND SURF FILM FESTIVAL, to be held at BASE in the heart of Navigli Area in Milan from the 9th to the 12 of May.
Bringing to Italy a showcase of homegrown and international surfing and skate’s hottest releases – documentaries to inspire, travelogues to stir up the wanderlust, cutting edge action to blow minds and cinematography to mesmerise – SSFF is a celebration of the cream of surf and skate culture.
Set against a backdrop of art, talks, contests, music, gallery shows, workshops, community and more this saline and concrete hit of inspiration is an essential cultural happening for anyone of a salt water and cement persuasion.
SSFF is directed by Luca Merli and produced by BLOCK10/ ONDE NOSTRE a collective of surfers, skaters, filmmakers, photographers and cultural commentators dedicated to preserving and communicating the spirit of surfing. Block10 is the production that makes the Onde Nostre project possible.

JOINING THE TEAM
SSFF couldn’t operate without a crack team of volunteers. In return for your time, you’ll get exclusive goodies.
Details of the volunteering roles are below so if you have a passion for skate, surf, film and culture and you’d like to get involved and lend a hand this year, we’d love to hear from you.
and tell us a little bit about yourself, your experience plus the role you’d be interested in CREW / FILM.
For all roles we’re looking for outgoing, confident, friendly and reliable people with a love of skate, surf film and culture.
Front of house, filmmaker/ press/ VIP liaison, merchandiser, runner, marketing assistance, ramp construction, maker/doer – it’s about mucking in, being flexible and being part of the team!
If you’re filmmaker with your own kit, we’d love to hear from you. At SSFF we’re lucky to host a number of talks and Q+A’s with stars of surf and skate and screen and we’re looking for filmmakers to capture those moments so we can share them with the rest of the world!
