With its 3500 km of coastline, there is no shortage of amazing and empty lineups, and surfeurs from all across the world come here in the winter to get a taste of the country’s endless righthanders. The sport is seeing an explosion in popularity in Morocco, and yet, countless talented locals are still struggling in their quest to make a living out of surfing. The infrastructure is simply not there to support them. Couscous Swell explores the local surf scene through the eyes of some of the country’s best surfers with the goal of hearing their stories and bringing them some well deserved exposure.
